How Pricing Works
What Drives the Cost of Dental Sleep Medicine Billing
Medical billing for oral appliance therapy is not a flat commodity service. What you pay depends on how much work each case carries and how much of the revenue cycle sits with us.
Case volume
A practice delivering a handful of appliances a month needs a different arrangement than one running sleep cases daily. Volume is the first thing we look at when quoting.
Payer mix
Medicare DME billing carries documentation and jurisdiction requirements that commercial claims do not. A Medicare-heavy practice takes more work per case, and the quote reflects that.
Scope of service
Pre-authorization only is a narrower engagement than full revenue cycle management with A/R follow-up, appeals and collections. You choose the line.
Starting condition
If there is a backlog of aging claims or unappealed denials to clean up, we scope that separately from ongoing work so it does not distort your monthly cost.
